Ahmed Ahsanuzzaman

Ahmed Ahsanuzzaman is a Professor of English at Khulna University, Bangladesh. He received his MPhil and PhD in Ibsen Studies from the University of Oslo, Norway. He is a translator, a theater and performance studies scholar, and an enthusiast in literacy and cultural theory. He has translated Synge’s Riders to the Sea, Arrabal’s The Two Executioners, Brecht’s Exception and the Rule and edited Subrata Augustine Gomes’s Nirbachito Yeats (translation of selected poems of Yeats) and Po’ro Jami (translation of Eilot’s The waste Land). In 2013 Professor Ahsanuzzaman edited Norway-er Galpa, an anthology of translated stories from Norway. With Professor Fakrul Alam Ahsanuzzaman edited “Translation Studies: Exploring Identities”, a collection of articles on theory and application of translation published by writers.ink in 2015.
