G. H. Habib (Golam Hossain Habib) is a Bangla language translator of fiction and non-fiction. He has translated and published, among others, One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Sophie’s World by Jostein Gaarder, A Natural History of Latin by Tore Janson, The Palm-Wine Drinkard by Amos Tutuola, Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino, Foundation by Isaac Asimov, and The Sign of Four by Arthur Conan Doyle. He is the editor of a translation based little magazine entitled Tarjama. He teaches English at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
