Puyaka Pkorir Philip is a poet, writer, publisher and one of Kenya’s most promising younger generation literary scholars. A university lecturer by profession, he teaches African, Asian, Russian, Caribbean, European as well as American Literature. He carries out research on Kenyan oral literature. He is a member of various literary organization among which is the World Poetry Movement (WPM). He holds the seminal literary conference/colloquium in Kapenguria town where his university campus is located. And Puyaka participated in literary festivals in international and in his country. As a poet and a writer, he has already published his works for publication, includes an Oral literary text, a collection of poems, short story collection and a novel.
