Sumana Ray is a corporate professional and a home maker. She is also a proficient writer who has written two books titled UDAAN and RANGIYE DIYE JAO. UDAAN is a compilation of her poetries that metaphorically connects nature and life. RANGIYE DIYE JAO has romantic short stories that manifests simplicity and beauty of human emotions. Having written many articles, biographies, poetries and stories for reputed journals and magazines, she continues to follow her passion and has already started working on her next book. She has completed Masters of Philosophy in Mathematics (MPhil) and B. Ed. She has worked on ‘Study of Fixed Point Theory in Banach space and its Applications’ in Applied Mathematics. Her endeavors also include working for reputed organizations like Zee Ltd. and Tata Group as senior manager. She has recently been honoured at the prestigious International Poet’s Meet 2019 held in Bangladesh. She loves to listen music and play many indoor and outdoor games like chess, carrom, badminton, cricket, football and more.
